DeSales University’s Act 3 production of Robin Hood transports audiences of all ages to the enchanting Sherwood Forest, a mystical place where we watch the legendary outlaw Robin Hood and his band of merry men take center stage in a daring tale of adventure and generosity. In this reimagined world, King Richard's absence has left his brother Prince John in charge of England, plunging the poor citizens of Nottingham into poverty and despair. As the play unfolds, we witness Robin Hood and his friends outsmarting the ruthless Lady Merle, Sheriff, and his henchmen along with the high-stakes archery contest in which Robin showcases his expertise with the bow and arrow. At the height of the show's action, we witness the daring rescue of a Maiden in distress, showcasing Robin’s neverending bravery and commitment to helping those in need. This thrilling and heartfelt adventure highlights the necessity of friendship and loyalty to emphasize the importance of standing up for what is right.
