VIRTUAL Film Screening
Faculty Advisor: Brian McDermott
November 16, 2024 at 7:30PM
What can be accomplished in three days? Time-limiting creativity can result in spectacular work as artists find ways to succeed despite restrictions. Students in the DeSales TV/ Film major are given just three days to make a short film. Writing, shooting, and editing must be completed within a 72-hour window starting Thursday, November 7, and ending Saturday, November 9. The short time period demands smart planning, skillful screenwriting, focused shooting, and quick editing decisions. This unique approach can lead to outstanding films and truly unique stories. Completed films will be streamed for viewing on November 16.
Recommended for Ages 14+
NOTE: Due to careful timing, this event will only be available beginning promptly at 7:30 PM on November 16.
